Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Reliability Engineer to monitor, analyze, and resolve issues across mission-critical operational systems. The role supports equipment, systems, and fixed assets with preventive maintenance and technical troubleshooting in a dynamic environment.

You will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to evaluate assets, develop maintenance plans, and document configurations and procedures. Strong math and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 4–5 years related experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple information sources.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Strong math skills including percentages and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine an asset's maintenance plan and provide technical support for site mechanical equipment.
• Work with engineering and operations teams to evaluate assets.
• Develop risk management plans to anticipate reliability-related risks to plant operations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and restore routine technical service and equipment problems.
• Identify faults and symptoms using established processes and procedures.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance schedules, system configurations, applications, and reference materials.
• Apply standard principles to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across multiple disciplines within the function.
• Solve complex problems by adopting new perspectives on existing solutions.
• Exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple information sources.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult information and work to build consensus to reach agreement.
