Job summary

New-indy Catawba Llc in South Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate safe, efficient scheduling of mechanical work in the Paper area. You will collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering and safety teams to prioritize repairs and preventive maintenance.

You will lead daily planning of backlogs, prepare schedules for field activities, update bills of materials, and support outage planning during shutdowns while ensuring compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience using Maximo or similar ERP system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Highly organized with effective prioritization of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance and repair work with production, maintenance, engineering, and safety staff.
• Review new work orders and detail plan per job backlog.
• Develop schedules for field day activities and coordinate outages.
• Update bills of materials as required while planning.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for quotes.
