Job summary

Qualifications

• Possess ten years of experience in water/wastewater maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or trade certification preferred.
• Maintain a valid Texas Driver’s License.
• CMRP certification preferred within three years of hire.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from manuals, drawings, catalogs, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with maintenance tradesmen, plant operators, supervisors, and risk managers to define cost-effective work plans.
• Prioritize preventive and corrective work backlog based on criticality and risk reduction.
• Develop work plans with necessary details for scheduling and execution.
• Coordinate with warehouse to ensure parts are available for planned work.
• Lead in using NTMWD’s asset management system and related software to control maintenance work.
