Innova Solutions is seeking a Release Manager for a 12- to 18-month contract in Charlotte, NC. The role requires end-to-end release management experience, strong Excel data skills, and prior work with banking or financial clients.

You will coordinate with inshore and offshore teams and ensure compliance with enterprise change standards. Responsibilities include risk control, patching, audits, coordinating with project and development teams, announcing outages, and guiding peers.

Release Manager

Position type: Contract
Duration: 12 to 18 Months
Location: Charlotte, NC

Must have Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Release Management - End-to-end Release process
• 5+ Years experience in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience working with Banking/Financial Clients.
• Experience working with both inshore and offshore teams

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end release processes for AML technology.
• Oversee application risk controls, security patching and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Responsible for responding to audit/regulatory requests.
• Coordinate with project, development teams, and support partners to deliver high-quality software releases.
• Serves as the subject matter expert for the Change process with stakeholders to include Risk, Audit, and external Regulators
• Coordinate with Software owners and support partners to ensure timely action on deliverables.
• Monitor and mitigate risks associated with application governance.
• Establish routines and provide updates to senior leadership.
• Coordinate and communicate application outage events.
• Provide oversight and guidance to other team members.

Required Qualifications

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to drive tasks through completion.
• Ability to prioritize, lead work efforts and influence outcome in a dynamic environment.
• Proven experience in release management and application risk control processes.
• Strong understanding of technology and enterprise change standards.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.

Required Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of Oracle SQL for querying and data manipulation.
• Familiarity with Pega Systems technology for workflow and case management.
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira Software for project tracking, collaboration, and agile processes.
• Experience using BMC Remedy IT Service Management for incident and change management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• General understanding of technology components (applications, databases, integrations, and infrastructure).

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with continuity planning and testing processes.
• Project management experience.
• Experience working with information security and planning vulnerability remediation
• Experience working with auditors and providing information for regulatory requests.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Referral Program

This position qualifies for a Referral Bonus amount of $250-$1000 dollars.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: $70 to $73 per hour
