Innova Solutions seeks a Java Software Engineer to design and develop enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React. The role includes building REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions, while modernizing legacy apps into a unified platform.

You will work with distributed Agile teams, promote secure coding practices, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity on Google Cloud Platform.

Qualificações

• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot with experience building scalable enterprise apps.
• Frontend experience with React.js and modern UI frameworks.
• Strong background in REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.
• Familiar with Google Cloud Platform and containerized deployments.

Java Software Engineer

Title: Java Software Engineer

Position type: Full Time - Contract

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
• Build and support REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.
• Contribute to the modernization and consolidation of multiple existing applications into a unified platform.
• Stabilize and improve front-end applications using React and modern UI development practices.
• Develop and maintain automation, data processing, and integration components using Python.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and distributed Agile teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices around secure coding, performance optimization, and application reliability.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve engineering productivity.
• Support cloud adoption initiatives and contribute to the team's growing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capabilities.
• Assist with troubleshooting, defect resolution, and application support activities.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience building cloud-native applications and services on GCP.
• Exposure to AI/ML services and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or containerized application deployments.
• Experience with Apache Spark and large-scale data processing.
• Understanding of data pipelines and ETL development.
• Experience supporting application modernization and platform consolidation initiatives.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Payment and Benefits

Pay Range*: $38/hr to $43/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
