Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Build & Release Engineer to own release cuts from Git, manage uprevs, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and build artifacts.

You will lead the internal Release Management portal and collaborate with multiple engineering teams to ensure smooth, auditable releases across product lines. The role demands hands-on software engineering, strong scripting, and deep CI/CD expertise, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and artifact provenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, graduating by December 2026.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Git experience with branching, tagging, and release workflows.
• Experience with artifact management systems (JFrog Artifactory, Nexus).
• Experience designing internal tools or portals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across build, dependency, and release issues.

Responsibilities

• Execute release cuts from Git across multiple product lines and branches.
• Manage version uprevs and firmware bumps with upstream teams.
• Define and own release branching, tagging, and versioning strategies.
• Investigate and resolve complex build failures, coordinating fixes across development teams.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for release workflows.
• Automate build infrastructure to reduce manual effort and enforce quality gates.
• Own the artifact lifecycle, including versioning, signing, storage, and cross-environment promotion.
• Maintain artifact provenance and traceability from commit to release.
• Develop and maintain the internal Release Management portal with UI and backend services.
• Collaborate with TPMs and domain teams on release timing and risk management.
