CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Release Engineer to implement and support automated software delivery processes across development, test, non-production, and production environments. The role bridges Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, Infrastructure, and Operations to improve deployment speed and stability.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, standardizing release workflows, and ensuring compliance with release governance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Build Engineering, Release Management, Software Engineering, or related roles.
• 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise software deployment processes.
• 2+ years of experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, support, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery.
• Standardize build, release, and deployment processes across applications and platforms.
• Establish repeatable, auditable, and traceable release management practices to ensure deployment consistency and compliance.
• Manage and support Git-based source control, branching strategies, and release workflows.
• Integrate automated testing, quality gates, security controls, and compliance checks into deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency, reliability, and release governance.
• Continuously enhance deployment automation, monitoring, and observability capabilities to proactively identify and mitigate release risks.
