Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Release/Deployment Coordinator to join the REM team in Charlotte, NC on a 12-month contract. The role focuses on SDLC coordination, release and environment management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will monitor progress, coordinate testing cycles, and facilitate cutover activities, while supporting regulatory reporting timelines and providing shift coverage as needed.

• Experience with automation to streamline tasks and reduce manual intervention.
• Knowledge of release and environment procedures within enterprise settings.
• Clear communication, organization, and coordination abilities across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track progress against plans, milestones, and deployment checklists.
• Coordinate testing cycles, environment refreshes, upgrades, and dress rehearsals.
• Facilitate cutover activities, checkpoint calls, and capture meeting notes and actions.
• Support domestic and international ledger and regulatory reporting timelines.
• Handle ad-hoc requests related to release and environment management.
• Provide AM or PM shift coverage and weekend support as required.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SDLC processes and release/environment coordination and a proven ability to monitor and track execution across testing, deployments, and cutover activities to ensure on-time delivery.
