Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Control Room Support Coordinator to join our Release and Environment Management (REM) team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on coordinating test and deployment activities across multiple ledgers and regulatory reporting platforms, applying SDLC practices and workflow automation.

You will monitor progress, manage deployment checklists, and facilitate cutovers, while supporting shifts and occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• SDLC lifecycle experience across requirements through production support.
• Proficiency with Jira for planning, tracking and reporting.
• Automation experience to streamline tasks.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Background in release and environment management for finance/regulatory platforms.
• Familiarity with change management and runbook execution.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track overall progress against plans for testing, releases, upgrades, and environment refreshes.
• Coordinate deployment checklists, dress rehearsals, cutover activities, and checkpoint calls and notes.
• Facilitate ad-hoc requests across domestic and international ledgers and regulatory reporting timelines.
• Support AM or PM shifts and provide weekend coverage as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience across the SDLC, including requirements, design, development, testing, and production support.
• Proficiency with Jira for planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Experience in automation to streamline tasks and reduce manual intervention.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in release and environment management for finance or regulatory reporting platforms.
• Familiarity with change management, cutover planning, and runbook execution.
