Job summary

UTILI-SERVE, LLC is seeking a skilled Relay Technician responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of relay and control equipment in electrical substations, power plants, and customer facilities. The role involves working with protective relays, instrument transformers, metering devices, and SCADA systems.

You will ensure safety compliance and contribute to project estimation and cost tracking.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in electrical/electronic field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with electrical relays and control systems.
• Hands-on testing and analysis of protective relays and control equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving technology and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair relay and control systems in substations, power plants, and customer facilities.
• Work with protective relays (electromechanical, solid-state, and microprocessor) and metering devices and SCADA systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Estimate projects and assist in planning; monitor progress, time, and cost; report updates.
• Support team leaders and management as needed.
