Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Utility Foreman - Relay to supervise and perform installation, maintenance and testing of substation protective and SCADA systems. The role supports emergency restoration activities, ensures safety, and acts as the main point of contact for contractors and customers.

Qualifications

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; a 2-year technical degree is preferred.
5+ years in electric utility industry; 5-10 years in electrical substation maintenance or construction preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC Card and a CDL driver's license.

Responsibilities

Supervise and perform installation and maintenance of substation protective systems.
Supervise and perform installation and maintenance of substation SCADA systems.
Coordinate emergency activities for relay and substation restoration.
Provide field training to relay crews on protective devices and schemes.
Be the professional point of contact for contractors and customers.
Ensure compliance with procedures and drive safe work practices.
