Entergy is seeking a qualified Substation Foreman to supervise and perform installation, maintenance and testing of substation equipment across multiple sites in Mississippi. The role requires readiness for callouts and extended hours and coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

Minimum 5+ years in electric utilities, plus 5–10 years in substation work are preferred. Valid TWIC and CDL licenses are required, and safety is emphasized in every operation.

Competenze

• 5+ years' experience in electric utility industry.
• 5-10 years' experience in electrical substation maintenance or construction preferred.
• Must be certified and able to perform substation switching.

Mansioni

• Supervise and perform all aspects of installation and maintenance of substation equipment.
• Provide field training to maintenance crews on substation apparatus.
• Assist crews in performing equipment testing, including Doble power factor, Doble breaker speed analyzer, Alber battery test set and Kelman Profiler.
• Provide a professional point of contact for contractors, internal/external customers, and design groups.
• Ensure compliance with Configuration Management and substation maintenance procedures and processes.
• Maintain a safe work environment and actively require safe work behaviors from all crews.
