Job summary

Landus Cooperative is seeking a Relationship Specialist to deliver exceptional service to farmer owners and support a collaborative, safety-conscious team.

You will drive customer satisfaction through prompt problem resolution, grow agronomy and feed sales, manage grain origination and marketing with existing customers and new prospects, handle grain contracts and invoicing, and maintain CRM records and inventory at the location.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Move/lift up to 50 pounds.
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of related experience.
• Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt attention guiding customers to the appropriate areas.
• Increase agronomy and feed sales, grain origination, and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers, as applicable.
• Complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable.
• Serve as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
• Document and submit sales call information in CRM; assist with inventory control of products offered at the location.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Prepare accurate/timely invoices; assure equitable calculation of products/services provided.
• Work knowledge of Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies.
• Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy.
• Monitor agronomy sales contracts/prepay for accuracy.
