Job summary

Landus in Bradford, IA is looking for a Relationship Specialist who will deliver outstanding customer service to farmer owners and support a collaborative team. You will help grow agronomy and feed sales, manage grain contracts, and handle invoicing with attention to accuracy.

You will document sales calls in the CRM, assist with inventory control, and ensure compliance with Landus policies while supporting a busy location.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver's license.
• Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds.
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of related experience.
• Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and assist or direct customers to the appropriate areas.
• Maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers.
• Complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable.
• Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
• Document and submit sales call information in the CRM and assist with inventory control of products offered at the location.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Prepare accurate/timely invoices; assure equitable calculation of products/services provided.
• Adhere to Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies.
• Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy.
• Monitor agronomy sales contracts/prepay for accuracy.
