Job summary

Landus in Latimer, IA is seeking a Relationship Specialist to provide outstanding customer service to farmer owners and support a collaborative team. You will help customers with their needs, process invoices, and contribute to agronomy and grain sales and origination.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and an AA degree or equivalent; one year of related experience is preferred. On-site position with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• One year of related experience.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to move/lift up to 50 pounds.
• Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt attention assisting or directing customers to the appropriate areas to meet their needs.
• Maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers, as applicable.
• Ability to complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable.
• Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
• Understand how to document and submit sales call information in CRM (Customer Relationship Management System).Assist with inventory control of products offered at the location.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Prepare accurate/timely invoices; assure equitable calculation of products/services provided.
• Working knowledge of Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies
• Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy
• Monitor agronomy sales contracts/prepay for accuracy
