Job summary

Nuvision Credit Union in Cheyenne, WY seeks a Relationship Specialist I to handle member transactions and account maintenance in a cash-operational branch. You will open and service multiple account types, issue cards, and cross-sell products while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Under supervision, you will balance the cash drawer, follow procedures, and complete compliance coursework. A high school diploma and NMLS registration are preferred for growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-year related branch operations experience.
• Knowledge of BSA, Regulation CC, D, E and all other pertinent regulations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all deposit account products and all services.
• Basic knowledge of all applicable Federal, State and NCUA regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills to compute interest on savings, loans, and certificates.
• Demonstrated ability to operate office machines including 10-key and PC.
• Proficient in PC operations and MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of Internet / Intranet and SharePoint.
• Good verbal/written communication, problem solving, member service, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and professional demeanor.
• Must complete compliance coursework and be NMLS Registered.

Responsibilities

• Handle member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan/VISA payments.
• Open savings, checking, money market, and CD accounts.
• Process plastic card services including issuing temporary cards and re-pinning cards.
• Balance cash drawer and assist with daily balancing.
• Cross-sell products and services to members.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information and comply with regulations.
• Provide trusted financial guidance and exceptional member service.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement activities.
