Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC in Austin, TX is seeking a Relationship Executive to grow the Mid-Corporate Banking portfolio by acquiring new clients and deepening relationships with existing ones.

You will collaborate with the Mid-Cap Investment Banking Team and the Financial Sponsors group to deliver comprehensive banking solutions, maintain senior-level relationships, and stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

• Seven plus years of lending or credit support with client relationships.
• Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services.
• Proven track record of meeting sales goals and prospecting.
• Ability to engage with CEOs and CFOs and collaborate with internal teams.
• Strong local market knowledge and connections.
• FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or pursued within 180 days.

As a Relationship Executive in Mid-Corporate Banking, your primary responsibility will be new client acquisition and maintaining and deepening a portfolio of relationships. You will work both independently and collaboratively to introduce our comprehensive solutions to clients. Your role involves growing and retaining profitable relationships within the Mid-Corporate Banking target market, which typically includes companies with annual revenues ranging from $100 million to $2 billion.

Job responsibilities

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Seven plus years of lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships.
• Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
• Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
• Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
• Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
• Deep local connections and market knowledge
• Corporate finance expertise and strong transaction execution skills
• FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training
• Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
• Experience with Financial Sponsors, Direct Lending and Capital Markets Solutions.
