Job summary

Columbia Bank in Idaho is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver exceptional client experiences in line with our Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. You will identify client needs, offer suitable products, and refer clients to internal partners as needed.

You will open consumer and business accounts, support teller functions, and pursue consumer lending opportunities while maintaining accurate cash handling and balancing. NMLS preferred is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service skills and ability to respond promptly to inquiries.
• Ability to expand client relationships through proactive engagement and needs discovery.
• Basic understanding of consumer banking products and services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent client service by acknowledging clients and offering appropriate products.
• Engage clients in financial reviews to provide solutions and uncover needs.
• Open consumer and business accounts for new and existing clients.
• Assist and collaborate with Client Service Specialists and perform teller tasks when needed.
• Refer clients to internal partners for additional product offerings.
• Resolve client issues with proactive follow-through.
• Develop familiarity with business, consumer, and trust relationships.
