Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver exceptional client experiences by following Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. You will acquire new clients and expand relationships by asking questions and offering appropriate banking products, referring to partners when needed, and assisting with consumer lending opportunities.

You will open consumer and business accounts, support teller tasks when needed, and contribute to the team by providing proactive solutions and timely

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Teller or banking experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products/services.
• Ability to obtain NMLS preferred.
• Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers, and perform accurate calculations.

Responsibilities

• Open consumer and business accounts for new and existing clients.
• Acquire new clients and expand relationships by identifying needs and offering products.
• Refer clients to internal business partners as needed.
• Uncover lending opportunities and support consumer lending.
• Provide proactive solutions and timely responses to inquiries.
• Fill in teller functions when required and maintain accuracy.
