Total Environmental Management, Inc. (TEM) is seeking a relationship-focused Sales Engineer to develop new business and grow our presence throughout the Phoenix market.

This technical sales role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting customers, uncovering opportunities, and delivering customer-first turnkey temporary HVAC solutions from first conversation through project completion. The Sales Engineer will be based in our Phoenix office, with onboarding at TEM’s Southern California corporate

Qualifications

• Two years of sales, HVAC, construction, equipment rental, or related industry experience.
• Three to five years of equipment rental or business development in Phoenix preferred.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting, outreach, referrals, and in-person visits.
• Build trusted relationships with contractors, facility/managers, and building engineers.
• Conduct job walks and translate requirements into customer-first temporary HVAC solutions.
• Represent TEM at industry events and customer meetings to build the Phoenix market.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and project information while maintaining TEM’s CRM.
• Coordinate with Operations, Dispatch, Accounting, and Marketing to support project execution.
