Job summary

TD in Philadelphia seeks a client-focused Banking Associate to deliver everyday banking with accuracy and confidence while guiding clients to achieve their financial goals and staying within TD's risk framework. You will warmly greet clients, handle transactions, deepen relationships by identifying needs, educate on products and self-serve options, and escalate non-standard issues when required.

This full-time on-site role requires strong communication, organization, and availability to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year demonstrated experience working with clients.
• Teller or cash-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work during evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to complete required job-related training upon hire.
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent.
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates the overall client experience by effectively managing client flow (in-person and phone).
• Serves as the hospitality ambassador for the financial center, delivering consistent, relationship-driven client experiences.
• Creates personalized, client-first interactions that establish trust from the initial engagement.
• Balances client needs with sound judgment, policy adherence, and risk awareness.
• Educates clients on banking products, services, and digital capabilities to enhance convenience and financial well-being.
• Advocates for clients by demonstrating empathy, integrity, and a long-term perspective.
