Job summary

TD Bank in Meriden, Connecticut seeks a frontline teller to deliver everyday banking services and maintain consumer accounts, building relationships with accuracy and care.

You will educate clients on products, assist with digital tools, and refer opportunities to specialists while upholding TD’s risk and regulatory standards, acting as the hospitality ambassador of the financial center. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required to support a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of client-facing experience (volunteering, education, military, etc.).
• Teller or cash-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Notary license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle everyday banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Open/maintain consumer accounts and provide basic support.
• Identify client needs and refer to appropriate specialists.
• Serve as hospitality ambassador, guiding client flow and delivering a high-touch experience.
• Educate clients on products and digital capabilities while ensuring risk/compliance.
