Job summary

California Bank & Trust in the United States is hiring for a branch associate role focused on delivering relationship-centered service. You will process transactions, open and maintain accounts, and assist clients with money movements and card activations.

The position emphasizes cross-selling products based on client needs, accurate balancing, and strong customer service skills, with potential reassignment within 30 miles as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 0-1+ years banking, cashiering, customer service, balancing, or related experience.
• Advance knowledge of cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
• Working knowledge of math.
• Must have solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurately processing debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
• Identifies and addresses clients’ needs by providing a variety of services which may include opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activation of ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
• Resolve clients’ problems either through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources
• Identifies and maximizes cross-selling bank opportunities through exploring needs
• You may be reassigned to an alternate location depending on business needs within a reasonable distance (30 miles of branch location) and given proper notice
• Other duties as assigned
