Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking an Universal Banker in the United States. The role delivers timely client transactions while maintaining accurate records and understanding client financial needs. You will support sales activities and IRM initiatives, assist with outbound calls, and help open new accounts when needed.

This position emphasizes exceptional customer service, adherence to procedures, and ongoing product knowledge development to better serve consumer and business clients.

Qualifications

• Essential: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years teller/cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Travel to accommodate temporary staffing and locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with travel/off-hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience, conducting transactions and uncovering needs.
• Educate clients on digital/self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales through outbound calls and client referrals to branch teams or specialists.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Pursue product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures, and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
