Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Financial Relationship Banker to serve branch customers and grow both consumer and business relationships. You will identify financial goals, recommend deposit, loan, and other banking solutions, and act as a trusted advisor for everyday banking needs.

You will provide exceptional service, educate customers on online and mobile banking, and collaborate with partners to expand wallet share while upholding bank policies and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service and sales in banking or financial services.
• Bachelor's Degree and 1+ year sales experience preferred.
• Ability to build, deepen and retain relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
• Proactively identifies opportunities to grow customer relationships through pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, and sourcing referrals from customers, bank colleagues and partners.
• Educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong internal partnerships.
• Educating customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking)
• Maintaining your knowledge of all products, services, technology and policies.
• Adhering to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
