Job summary

UMB is seeking a Personal Banker to build customer relationships and offer financial solutions. You will use product knowledge to identify needs and deliver tailored recommendations, helping customers secure their financial well-being while making banking easy.

Expect extensive training on UMB's products, the sales process, and career growth within Consumer banking. You will work with leaders and mentors to develop expertise and advance in the organization.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year in a retail environment engaging with customers and making product recommendations that lead to sales.
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration within 90 days.
• Strong product knowledge and cross-sell skills.

Responsibilities

• Ask personalized questions to convert transactions and routine service requests into cross-sell conversations.
• Call leads, visit businesses to offer workplace banking, and develop referral networks.
• Achieve daily key performance metrics while balancing priorities.
• Learn processes like transactions, cash drawer management, and bank documentation per standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
