UMB Financial Corporation is seeking a Personal Banker to build strong customer relationships, recommend financial products, and support clients’ financial well-being. You will learn UMB’s products, sales process, and provide excellent service across branches.

You’ll engage customers, expand workplace banking opportunities, and work with leadership for mentorship. The role requires a proactive, high-energy sales mindset and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a retail environment with customer interactions leading to product recommendations and sales.
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Asking personalized questions to convert transactions and service requests into cross-sell conversations.
• Create sales opportunities by calling leads, visiting businesses for workplace banking, and developing referral networks.
• Achieve daily key performance metrics while balancing priorities.
• Learn processes like transactions, cash drawer management, and bank documentation per standards.
• Other job duties as assigned.
