Job summary

Southern Bank in Missouri seeks a dedicated Personal Banker to serve as the branch focal point for sales, service and referral opportunities, building lifelong relationships with customers and communities. You will open accounts, assist customers with transactions, cross-sell bank products, and participate in community events while maintaining high standards of service and regulatory compliance.

The position may require occasional cross-branch coverage and adherence to bank policies and security

Responsibilities

• Develops new customer relationships and expands existing ones through cross-selling.

• Contacts customers regularly to ensure satisfaction.
• Educates customers on available access channels.
• Engages in community events and local business outreach to drive branch visibility.
• Resolves difficult customer situations with professionalism.
• Maintains knowledge of bank policies, deposits, transactions, and cash handling.
• Follows bank regulatory requirements including privacy and information security.
• Maintains trust, confidentiality and adherence to standards.
• May assist at multiple branches as needed.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
