Job summary

Truist in the United States seeks a client-focused teller/support associate to deliver timely transactions and superior service. You will educate clients on digital banking, support sales activities, and assist with IRM initiatives to meet client financial needs.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, PC proficiency, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic branch environment. Weekend/extended hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs; weekends/extended hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide distinctive client experience through courteous conversations and transaction handling.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service banking solutions.
• Support sales by outbound calling and identifying client needs; refer to branch team or specialist.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training to advance product knowledge and service delivery.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures, and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution.
