Job summary

Cathay Bank in Mountain View, CA seeks a customer-focused banking professional to manage a Retail branch portfolio and drive business development. You will open accounts, cross-sell products, and assist with mortgage loans while delivering excellent service.

The role requires an emphasis on compliance, strong communication, and the ability to work with diverse customers in a busy branch environment.

Qualifications

College degree in business, accounting or finance preferred.
Minimum 5 years of retail banking experience with emphasis on sales and business development is a plus.
Thorough knowledge of bank products and services.
Adhere to regulations and policies affecting new account processing.
MLO status within 6 months; Life Insurance license within 12 months; FINRA Series 6/63 or 7/65 recommended (not required).
Proficiency with banking software and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

Manage a customer portfolio of Retail branch customers and develop business opportunities.
Cross-sell bank products and services to meet customers' financial goals.
Originate and process Mortgage Loans.
Handle new account opening procedures and related inquiries.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain confidentiality.
