Job summary

Columbia Bank in Grants Pass, OR is seeking a Relationship Banker to build long-term client relationships, open deposit accounts, and originate consumer loans while educating customers on digital and traditional banking solutions.

You will engage in community activities, develop a pipeline of prospects, and collaborate with internal partners to provide customized financial solutions. Strong sales and lending experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years banking and/or sales experience.
• 2 years building client relationships and achieving sales goals.
• 2 years in lending with loan origination/processing.
• Knowledge of consumer and business products and services.
• Ability to understand cash flow, financial statements, and market risk.

Responsibilities

• Open new deposit accounts and originate consumer loans.
• Originate consumer and some small business loans and build a loan and deposit portfolio.
• Educate customers about Treasury Management and digital banking solutions.
• Perform outbound calls and community outreach.
• Resolve client issues with digital products and services.
• Participate in community events and sponsorships.
