Job summary

Columbia Bank in Bonney Lake, WA is seeking a Relationship Banker to build long-term client relationships by delivering Breakthrough Client Service Standards and tailored financial solutions to help clients meet their goals.

You will open new deposit accounts, originate consumer loans, and educate customers about digital and Treasury Management services while actively building a pipeline and supporting community initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2 years banking and/or demonstrated sales experience.
• 2 years developing current and new client relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources in banking or retail environment with client service and cash handling experience.
• 2 years in a lending function with loan origination and processing functions.
• In-depth knowledge of Consumer and Business products and services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in consumer and business lending.
• Ability to understand cash flow, financial statements, and market risk.
• Comfort with technology across online banking platforms, Bill Pay, E-Statements, mobile banking, ATM, and business banking apps.

Responsibilities

• Open new deposit accounts and originate consumer loans.
• Originate consumer loans and some small business loans, building and maintaining a loan and deposit portfolio.
• Educate customers about services from Treasury Management and other internal partners.
• Perform proactive outbound calls to current and prospective clients.
• Partner with branch leadership for community outreach and events.
• Develop a pipeline of prospects from in-branch and outbound activities.
• Support customers with digital product questions and issues.
