TD Bank Newark is seeking a Customer Service/Bank Teller align as part of Personal & Commercial Banking. This role guides clients through daily transactions, educates on products, and builds relationships with a focus on accuracy and risk controls.

The position supports branch operations during evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year client-facing experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year demonstrated experience working with clients. Experience can include volunteering, education, military experience.
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client facing/financial institution preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to complete required job-related training upon hire.
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent.
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Notary License preferred

Responsabilités

• Serves as the first point of contact for clients, guiding traffic flow and delivering a high-touch client experience.
• Delivers accurate, efficient everyday banking transactions and deepens relationships by identifying needs and referring clients to partners.
• Educates clients on products and self-serve solutions using insights to recommend solutions.
• Performs a broad range of client transactions within established financial limits and policies.
• Identifies and escalates non-standard issues internally per procedure.
