Community Bank, N.A. is seeking a Relationship Banking Representative in upstate New York to serve as a frontline ambassador, handling teller and desk duties while delivering a consistent, customer-centered banking journey.

You will listen to customer needs, educate them on products, and guide them toward the right financial solutions. You will open and close accounts, process transactions, and support digital tools adoption, all while maintaining compliance with bank policies and security

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Internal product knowledge, teller and platform training preferred.
• Ability to attend a 5-7 day initial training program, which may involve overnight travel; travel expenses reimbursed by the company.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional customer experience in every interaction.
• Listen actively and ask questions to understand financial needs and goals.
• Process bank transactions and routine inquiries with a consultative approach.
• Open new accounts, close accounts, initiate wire transfers, and support service requests.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options.
• Manage customer flow and schedule appointments as needed.
• Collaborate with branch partners to refer complex needs to specialists.
