Job summary

Rockland Trust is seeking a Relationship Banker to build and foster strong client relationships while delivering an energetic banking experience. You will identify financial needs, process transactions, and offer appropriate products to a diverse client base.

In this role you will engage customers through consultative conversations, work with a team to expand opportunities, and leverage digital channels to enhance the customer experience while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 2-4 years of successful experience in a sales and service environment such as retail, hospitality, or financial services.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with ability to operate a wide variety of equipment and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Engage in consultative conversations with customers to build rapport and expand relationships.
• Work independently and as part of a team to maximize customer engagement and sales opportunities.
• Accurately process all traditional customer transactions within established guidelines.
• Answer routine and complex questions on customer accounts, products, services, policies and procedures.
• Cross-sell bank deposit and loan products and services using a needs-based approach.
