Burke & Herbert Bank & Trust in Monterey, VA is seeking a Community Bank Manager to lead customer service, open accounts, and process loan applications while referring customers to mortgage, wealth, and business banking specialists.

The role emphasizes service beyond expectations, sales targets, teamwork, and accurate handling of accounts, online/mobile banking, and teller duties as needed. Experience in retail banking and strong interpersonal skills are valued.

Competenze

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Prior retail banking experience preferred.
Prior customer service experience preferred.
Position requires cross-training as a Customer Service Teller and cross-utilization based on branch needs.

Mansioni

Open accounts and process customer service requests.
Open a wide variety of consumer and business accounts including loans and deposits.
Identify and refer to Mortgage, Investments, Cash Management, Commercial Loans and Insurance.
Cross-sell bank products and services.
Assist clients with account maintenance, online and mobile banking, wire transfers and teller duties as needed.
Educate and profile clients using bank systems.
Maintain sales tracking, follow-up calls, onboarding and client retention.
Adhere to company policies and security procedures.
