Job summary

Truist is hiring a Part Time Universal Banker to deliver exceptional client service and support branch operations in Culpeper, VA. You will handle varied transactions, educate clients on digital tools, and assist with outbound outreach while supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, teamwork, and adherence to controls and policies. Weekend/extended hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller, cash handling, or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with possible travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversation while handling complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions (ATMs, Online and Mobile banking).
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training and meetings to advance product knowledge and customer service.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies, and risk management guidelines.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution, handling branch workload.
