Job summary

BankPlus is seeking an experienced Universal Banker II to strengthen customer relationships and provide exceptional service. You will evaluate and recommend bank products, process transactions, and act as a branch concierge with a focus on loan, deposit, and cash management services.

The role requires advanced banking knowledge and the ability to educate customers on digital solutions such as mobile and online banking. Strong communication and multi-tasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of similar experience in customer service, sales, and cash handling; two of the years must be in Banking.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• General computer experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work outside regular business hours.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a branch concierge with strong listening and customer service.
• Maintains relationships with internal and external customers and projects a professional image.
• Markets and cross-sells bank products by assessing customer needs.
• Processes relationship banker transactions and related paperwork.
• Educates customers on ITM usage and digital banking solutions.
• Ensures ITM and cash recyclers balance accurately.
• Opens deposit accounts and handles account servicing tasks.
• Interviews loan applicants and handles loan paperwork, including CreditPlus loans.
• Processes wire transfers, stop payments, and ACH returns.
• Supports marketing efforts and participates in community activities.
