Job summary

b1BANK in is seeking a Universal Banker (Finance) to deliver high-quality customer service, handle transactions, and open new accounts while actively developing relationships to achieve branch and individual sales goals.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, customer servicing, supporting campaigns, updating loan data, gathering documentation, and referring leads to specialists. Compliance with banking regulations is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of personal banking or teller experience with emphasis on customer service preferred.
• Two years of loan experience preferred.
• Understanding of bank deposits, lending products, credit products, and services to open accounts or refer customers to specialists.
• Excellent customer service skills including verbal and written communication.
• Strong relationship building, collaboration and teamwork.
• Problem solving skills.
• Teller and systems training and new account opening.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary contact for customers, addressing total financial service needs and opportunities to support banking center success.
• Handle a broad range of banking center activities including transaction processing and customer servicing.
• Support sales objectives by selling and cross-selling Bank products to grow existing relationships while processing transactions.
• Assist management with day-to-day operations: approving transactions, preparing reports, resolving issues, and responding to inquiries.
• Comply with Bank policies and state/federal regulations; maintain security and confidentiality.
