BankPlus is seeking a Universal Banker I in Meridian, MS to provide exceptional customer service, manage deposit and loan-related transactions, and promote BankPlus products. This role emphasizes relationship-building with clients and cross-selling opportunities while educating customers on digital banking tools.

The position requires at least two years of banking experience, proficiency with MS Office, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Two or more years’ experience in a banking or professional environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work outside regular hours and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Build and strengthen customer relationships and provide excellent service.
Sell and cross-sell bank products by assessing customer needs.
Process relationship banker transactions accurately and efficiently.
Educate customers on ITM usage, mobile and online banking.
Open deposit accounts and complete servicing transactions.
Balance ITM and cash recyclers accurately.
Assist customers with safe deposit access and loan applications.
Process wire transfers, stop payments, and ACH returns.
Refer customers to Mortgage Center and Wealth Management when appropriate.
Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations (BSA, Privacy, Fair Lending, Regulation E).
