U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker II in Salem, OR to build trust-based relationships with customers across in-person, appointment, and digital channels.

You will assess financial needs, educate on deposit and loan products, and suggest tailored solutions while maintaining a digital-first approach. Responsibilities include opening accounts, processing requests, and collaborating with the branch team to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has a minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services.
• Experience with participating in sales campaigns/promotions.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Identifies solutions for clients based on their needs by effectively engaging and communicating with clients.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests and submits credit applications.
• Educates clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services.
