Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with one year of banking experience and two years of cash handling and customer service experience.
• Strong relationship-building and sales skills.
• Excellent time management and communication.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Open accounts for customers and prepare new account paperwork and request required identification.
• Handle customer transactions and help with account-related inquiries, balance cash drawers and vault, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Identify customer needs and offer appropriate banking products and services.
• Assist with internal controls, daily report follow-up, and night depository deposits.
• Provide superior customer service while following bank policies and procedures.
• Mitigate losses through accuracy and adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Achieve individual and/or team financial, production, and relationship targets.
• Other duties as assigned.
