Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to meet customers face to face, assess banking needs, open accounts and assist with consumer loans. You will build trustful client relationships, educate clients on products, and process transactions with accuracy.

You will collaborate with branch teammates, leverage digital tools, and actively participate in sales campaigns to deliver exceptional service and financial solutions to clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 4–5 years of retail banking experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up, asking questions and learning about their financial needs.
• Identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs by effectively engaging and communicating with clients.
• Maintains knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services including digital offerings.
• Provides a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
• Develops collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests and submits credit applications.
• Educates clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to meet their financial needs.
• Leverages resources and technologies to optimize the client experience with accuracy and excellence.
