Qualifications

• 2 years of face-to-face customer service or retail sales experience or prior Trustmark Relationship Banker experience with track record of meeting goals.
• Ability to learn lending guidelines and process loans within 2 years.
• Ability to register with NMLS.
• Strong math, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and make referrals through proactive sales/service efforts.
• Service, sell, and cross-sell deposits, loans, and other products.
• Deliver customer experience that meets Trustmark standards.
• Safeguard assets and process transactions accurately.
• Balance cash drawer and achieve quarterly sales/referral goals.
• Make outreach calls to customers/prospects.
• Comply with policies and performance standards.
• Coach and mentor fellow Relationship Bankers and Tellers.
• Review/approve various transactions and manage cash shipments.
• Handle vault and branch operations related duties.
• Assist with consumer loan origination when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
