Job summary

U.S. Bank in California seeks a Relationship Banker to build client relationships, assess banking needs, and guide customers through accounts and loan products. You will engage customers face-to-face and remotely as needed.

You will open accounts, process requests, educate clients on digital tools, and collaborate with branch colleagues to deliver exceptional service. The role requires NMLS registration and adherence to policies; in return you’ll join a team committed to helping customers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Experience with digital products and self-service technologies.
• Knowledge of bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs.
• Maintains a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services including digital products and self-service technologies.
• Provides a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests and submits credit applications.
• Educates clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to assist with meeting their financial needs.
• Leverages available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and serve our clients with operational excellence and accuracy.
