Job summary

Santander Bank is seeking a Banking Center Relationship Banker I in Middlebury, CT. You will provide services to Banking Center customers, support sales, service, and operations goals, and process transactions in line with bank policies.

Utilize strong communication to identify customer needs, recommend financial products, and build trusted relationships across business segments. Flexibility to work varied hours and occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 3-4 years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible/rotating schedule; may require Saturdays/Sundays/extended hours.
• Travel may be required to alternate Banking Centers.

Responsibilities

• Provide services for Banking Center customers and assist the team in achieving sales, service, and operation goals.
• Process all customer-related financial transactions in accordance with bank rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with business segments through collaboration and communication.
• Respond to customer needs in a timely, accurate fashion, capitalizing on available resources.
• Evaluate client needs and offer appropriate financial products through needs-based conversations.
• Perform routine teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments).
• Support segmentation strategy to drive growth and profitability objectives.
• Meet/exceed branch audits and operations evaluation requirements.
