Job summary

US Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to build lasting client relationships by meeting with customers face to face and offering trusted financial counsel at a California branch.

You will educate clients on deposit and loan products, open and manage accounts, process basic transactions, and collaborate with team members to deliver a superior client experience while upholding regulatory standards. You will promote digital channels and self-service tools to meet customers’ evolving needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience.
• Bilingual ability to read, write, and speak Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs by engaging with clients.
• Maintains a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services.
• Provides a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
• Develops collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
• Open new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests and submits credit applications.
• Educates clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services.
• Leverages resources and technologies to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy.
