Job summary

Regions Bank in Columbia, Mississippi is seeking a part-time Relationship Banker I to deliver exceptional customer service on the cash line and over the phone while driving financial wellness for customers.

You will process transactions, answer inquiries, educate on digital tools, and help grow customer relationships. Prior teller or retail experience is valued; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels.
• Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides a consistent optimal customer experience on the cash line while handling customers’ transactional needs.
• Answers customer inquiries regarding products and services and fulfills basic servicing requests.
• Develops relationships with customers and remains well-informed about their banking relationship.
• Educates customers on standard consumer products and digital solutions such as mobile, online, and ATM offerings.
• Assists team members with basic tasks to aid in customer problem resolution.
• Refers customers to internal experts for complex financial goals and needs.
• Follows bank processes and adheres to laws and regulations, reporting risks as needed.
• Achieves branch targets by identifying needs and guiding Regions solutions.
• May conduct outbound calls to educate customers on emerging technology and services.
