Regions Bank in Columbia, SC seeks a Relationship Banker I to deliver an exceptional customer experience on the cash line and by phone, helping customers with deposits, withdrawals and general inquiries. You will build meaningful relationships and identify banking needs to better serve clients.

This role educates customers on digital solutions and standard products, supporting financial wellness with a focus on growth and upward mobility within Regions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels.

Responsibilities

• Provide a consistent optimal customer experience on the cash line and on the phone, handling deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller transactions.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products and services and fulfill basic servicing requests (new/replacement cards, information changes, PIN resets, reordering checks).
• Develop relationships with customers and stay informed about their banking needs.
• Educate customers on standard consumer products and digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM).
• Refer customers to internal experts for more complex financial goals.
