Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to engage customers across in-person, by appointment and virtual channels. The role centers on building trust, understanding financial goals, and delivering tailored banking solutions while educating clients on digital tools and services.

You will open accounts, process requests, and partner with branch staff to ensure a seamless client experience. Strong communication and service skills across channels are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
• Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Opens new consumer and business accounts and processes service requests
• Educates clients on deposits, loans, digital products and self-service options
